Thanks to the Sherwood Education Foundation our school participated in a fun art project this week. Each child was able to make a clay bug to take home. The kids worked very hard and all the bugs turned out super cute!

100s Day Art
For the 100th Day of School I gave each child a number one and two zeros and told them to use those numbers to create a picture of anything they wanted. I purposely didn't give them much direction because I wanted to see what they would come up with on their own. I was so impressed with their ideas and the final products. Such a creative group of kids I have!
100s Day Snack
Thursday was our 100th Day of School. We celebrated by eating 100 snacks! The kids counted out ten of each item to make 100 and then we used different subtraction equations to figure out how many snacks we could eat at a time. It was a super fun way to end our day and celebrate 100 days at school.

King Tut Art Lit
We had an art literacy lesson with Mrs. Bittner on Friday and the class really enjoyed making their own rainbow King Tut pictures. They worked very carefully and their sketches turned out great!

We made some cute bees for Valentine's Day!
I know I'm a little bias, but I think they turned out super cute.
